Directors Message

Rocket Academy is a school like no other in Wisconsin, and I am honored to be its first Director.  Students of the Rocket Academy will be fully immersed in dual-credit courses offered by Lakeshore Technical College.  This means that students will simultaneously be working toward their high school diploma and a degree or certificate from LTC.  The average school day at Rocket Academy will resemble a simulated workplace offering students a unique model for learning.  Imagine the employment opportunities waiting for a student who graduates high school with industry-based credentials and workplace fundamentals.

I have spent nearly 26 years educating students in Career & Technical Education and as an Academic & Career Planning Coordinator for the last 5 years.  I recognize the need to reduce the employment gap in manufacturing and the trades in our area and also have a passion for helping students identify and prepare for a career of their choice.  Rocket Academy’s Mission is to close the college and career readiness achievement gap so that all students are prepared to successfully take the next step in their own skilled manufacturing career pathway by graduation.
